Becoming an exchange student gives you more than knowledge about another country and its language and culture. A year abroad teaches you about building friendships, taking responsibility for yourself, respecting differences and tolerating the beliefs of others.

Your exchange year abroad may cost no more than a year at home. Believe it or not, that’s true. ASSE programs are offered to you at cost. The maximum duration of an exchange period at TU Delft is one academic year (months). It is not permitted to come to TU Delft on exchange more than once.

Exchange students may only sit exams while their enrolment status is active at TU Delft. It is obligatory that they remain registered as regular students at their home university. A student exchange program may involve international travel, but does not necessarily require the student to study outside their home country. We bring more students to the U.
